Beverley Wright practices as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of wound management. She works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to facilitate wound healing in long-term care facilities. The impacts of her work are noted as wounds over time display improved status and are sometimes brought to complete closure through vigilance and staff education in her weekly assessments.
Her journey in the field of nursing started 23 years ago after obtaining her Diploma in nursing from the University of West Indies School of Nursing. After 10 years of clinical practice in the areas of medicine, emergency room and critical care, she went on to pursue higher education and obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Felician College in Lodi New Jersey.
She received her certification as a nurse practitioner through The American Nurse Credentialing Center in 2004 and is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.
She is a past president of Mu Theta Chapter-at-Large, local arm of The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International but continues to serve on the Board of Directors as Chair of Leadership Succession Committee. She is also a member of American Nurses Association and is listed in Strathmore's Who is Who in America.
Beverly says "I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with other practitioners to make a difference in wound care."
